MIM #64 Inspired Color Challenge

I was hoping to get a couple of cards posted to the the PTI MIM challenge , but it's been a crazy busy week (for which I am very grateful these days :)

Check out Nicole's video where where creates a card from the beginning to end.

 PTI - MIM Color Inspiration

There are several beautiful color combos to use from a free download Nicole provided for us, I chose this one:

My Card ~
Cardstock:  Base card is Vintage Cream from PTI;  I substituted the Linen, Aqua and Terracotta from Recollections papers: the gingham is from Fancy Pants Designs
Ink:  "Kraft" is a combination of Chocolate Brown from Stampablities and Pearlescent Beige from Archival Ink; butterfly stamped in Aqua Blue from Studio G; sentiment stamps were inked with Terra Cotta from Ranger
Stamps:  Sentiment stamps from PTI "Fall Elegance" ; Branch Flight from Stampendous; Butterfly from
Studio G
Tools:  Wood Grain embossing folder; scallop border punch

Thanks for stopping by~

  1. Love the embossing!! And thanks for the sweet comment on my blog. I made some more today if you want to take a look - for a different colour combo and also for the Passion for Papertrey challenge. Gotta get my crafting in on the weekend since the work week is almost here.
